For the past four years, I’ve been shooting narrative, commercial, and documentary projects — all built on the solid foundation of years spent as a focus puller across the UK & internationally. That time taught me precision, patience, and versatility in some of the highest-pressure environments.

 

I own a full Alexa 35, accessories and monitoring package, plus a solid base kit of lighting and grip. I supplement that with carefully chosen rentals for lenses, big lighting and grip with my strong base of rental house connections throughout London & Manchester tailoring each setup to the specific needs of the story while keeping production smooth, efficient, and uncompromising.

Lately, I’ve been diving into the cutting edge of camera technology — pushing dynamic range to its limits, embracing big sensors, and exploring how emerging tools can pull audiences deeper into a story’s world. It’s not just about gear for gear’s sake — it’s about using the best tools available to serve the emotional truth of a moment.

 

When it comes to stills, I shoot from the heart — and my heart lives in medium format. The Fuji GFX 100 II gives me that beautiful sense of depth and honesty. I believe the magic comes in using a 2D image to create something that feels three-dimensional, immersive and alive. It’s a look that’s traditionally reserved for top-tier budgets — but I’m working to bring that cinematic richness into more accessible spaces, blending high-end aesthetic with smart, resourceful production.
